So, there are a few things that I am awkwardly nerdy about. I mean, I’m insanely nerdy about a lot of things, but a good chunk of those things are in the mostly normal category. However, there are a few things that I really get down and nerdy about that probably fit better into the kind of odd category.

Guys, I really like staining wood. Like, a lot. I love the way that almost unnoticeable colors pop and become vivid with one stroke of the brush. It is so amazing! I love that different trees from different areas give different looks to the boards they create, and I love that when you take different colored stain to those different boards you get very fun and interesting results. I love taking wood that looks boring and dead and, with the simple act of brushing stain over it, making it look new and exciting. I just can’t help it! It is one of my very favorite things. Ever. On this earth. In fact, I need to wrap this up so I can drive 20 minutes to the west and get to work staining a fence for my grandma. It is in some serious need. I started it on Friday and because I love staining so very much, I took pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
