I finally finished the BSU hat that I was working on a few weeks ago. After I finished it, however, I went on vacation and forgot to post some pictures. First, here are the last couple of pictures that I took on the needles. (Cole was a helpful model…)
And here are a bunch of pictures of Jenna pretending to be America’s Next Top Model. Oy vey… I did ask her to model my hat for me along with a scarf I made for a friend, so I guess she was just following instructions. Very literally.
(And my favorites… Gigantic because I’m her mother and this is my blog and if I want them to be big I can make them so.)
Finally, this is a moebius cowl that I made for my sister’s 30th birthday. It is 100% wool knit on US size 13 circulars. I’m pleased with the way it came out. The rows are k2, p1, k2, p2, k1, p2 and repeat. It’s cozy and I’m hoping that it will work well under the wool pea coats my sister is so fond of wearing. It will certainly look better with one of them than with my Giants sweatshirt.
